Accessibility Statement
Last updated May 17, 2026
Archie Studio designs and builds websites, and we hold our own site to the same standard we apply to client work. We are committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order and landmarks
- Colour contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA for text and interactive elements
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators
- Descriptive text for meaningful images and clear labels for controls
- Respect for the reduced-motion preference set in the operating system
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels
- Testing with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks
Known limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some content or third-party components may not yet fully meet our target, and new content is reviewed as it is added. Where an embedded third-party tool does not meet the standard, we work to provide an accessible alternative path to the same outcome, such as contacting us directly. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know so we can fix it.
Reporting an issue
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this site, or you have feedback on how we can improve, please contact us at hello@witharchie.co. Please describe the issue and the page involved. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and will work with you to provide the information or service you need through an accessible alternative while we resolve the underlying issue.
Updates
We review this statement as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent review.
